Explore the intricacies of traditional Balinese architecture, which reflects a deep balance between nature, spirituality, and community life. Engage with the locals and observe the creation of offerings, an integral part of daily spiritual practice. Get hands-on with a Boreh-making workshop, where you'll learn how this traditional herbal scrub has been used for generations as a preventive health treatment. You'll also be introduced to the Balinese alphabet, and as a memorable keepsake, you'll inscribe your name on a Lotar leaf using traditional tools. The experience continues with a coconut oil-making demonstration and a scenic trek through the rice fields, where you'll explore the centuries-old Subak irrigation system and witness the importance of water in Balinese agriculture.
